Challenge #22: TOGETHER IN PARADISE
Another slightly early challenge post, but I'm thinking you guys won't mind. XD The usual routine is to have it up at some point Sunday night, so it all works.
~ THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE ~
This week's challenge is an Obidala on Naboo icon. Yes, this is a pretty AU (alternate universe) concept, but I think it's an interesting one to consider nonetheless. What if, in Episode II, Obi-Wan had been sent to Naboo to guard Padmé instead of Anakin? Would the same events still have transpired, or would we perhaps have had a different - and more Obi-Wan/Padmé oriented - scenario take place? I've read a couple of good AU fanfics that proceed from that very premise, and it raises some intriguing questions. It's reasonable to suppose that, if Anakin had been the one to lead the investigation into Padmé's assassins, he wouldn't have had time to fall in love with her. (True, he might have still married her at some later date, but we can dream. XD) Alternately, if that isn't an interesting enough scenario for you, think about what might have happened if Padmé had not died delivering the twins on Polis Massa. In one AU project of mine, she went with Obi-Wan to Naboo to raise the twins there. So, no matter how you look at it, there is some potential for interesting interactions between our favourite couple on Padmé's home planet.
Create an icon in which Obi-Wan and Padmé are seen to be on Naboo. This can be in either of the capacities I've described above, or maybe it's an entirely new scenario you've cooked up. Whatever you eventually decide to do, as long as you make it clear that Padmé and Obi-Wan are on Naboo for some reason, it's game. You might even want to reach back to Episode I and icon the scenes they had on Naboo there. It's completely up to you, as long as the overall theme is preserved. All submissions will be screened.

- Obi-Wan and Padmé must appear in the icon.
- The icon must show Obi-Wan and Padmé on Naboo in some capacity. How that's portrayed, and the reason, is up to you.
- Text is not required, but you may include it if you wish.
