I think this my friend is a case of different strokes lol.
Now from the pics posted around when they were first cast... i could see some Sirius in him, thought wow he could really pull this off. But that hair they have BADDLY plopped on his head... girl I just can not get past. hehe

Looks like they just grabbed Gary's wig for that day of filming.

And I am just no comment on James's hair... and WTF is up with Remus so far away from the others that he isn't even in focus in the picture?

Hehe gal I love it... and the perm would so much better fit Peter anyway. Its just so obviously a bad wig on my boy. He looks like a pervy 30 year old stalker/molester then the hottest boy in 5th year.... I mean for cripes sake he is 15 and looks to have a freakin receding hairline!

Maybe they ran out of money in the buget for make-up and hair after getting Snape and Peter put together and just stole Gary's wig for the day and just pushed James into camara saying *no one will notice he is SANDY BLONDE*!
