Comic book science
I'm a senior, and am trying to find an answer to a question that's been puzzling me since freshman year. Specifically, does anyone know what the strange-looking spire is on top of the physics building? It looks like a cartoon death ray, certainly not like a piece of real-life equipment. I suppose it could be art, but it doesn't really fit with the rest of the building, and its aesthetic is anyway less Oberlin and more "don't fuck with Lex Luthor."
