Blake played Edmund in this year's ITV production of Mansfield Park, starring Billie Piper as Fanny Price. His TV work includes an episode of Inspector Lynley and quite a few episodes of Red Cap.
Here be info resulting from my Google-fu...
He is represented by PFD for writing/directing with his brother Dylan [link]. They directed the short film Out of Time in 2004. When Blake was at Cambridge he assistant directed a play called The Suicide at ADC Theatre, among other productions, presumably.
He hasn't really been in much, has he? I mean, not many mainstream productions - which is theoretically fine, but it means I don't get to see him in much. :'(
P.S. I think he and McAvoy look sort of similar - do you see much of a resemblance?
I know... I've only seen him in three things so far, and that was mostly by accident.
With that hair and those outfits, yes. Half the James McAvoy pictures I've seen recently are somewhat period-y. With that first picture I actually assumed it was James rather than Blake. *g*

He has been in two productions of Arcadia by Tom Stoppard - the Bristol Old Vic (2004; he played Septimus), and the Theatre Royal Haymarket (1994). Other theatre work includes Macbeth (1993, National Theatre) and In Praise of Love (2001, Theatre Royal Norwich).
