A sortof anthem. If you will.

So. I have that Threepenny/Tommy singing business in my hot little hands at long last and after a busy round of kissing his evil eye, I have fallen to song mutilation composition. *ahem*

Download and sing along!

(I sortof consider James to be the king of cock-centric things. King Cock?)

*snort*

(poor James, longing to be known for more than his really and truly unenhanced member...)

ps. Mr. Sturridge may be smaller than his weighter counterpart, but from a height consideration, I don't know if Mr. Hollander has his equal for hobbit status...

Oh, now that was just fun! I love Kurt Weill, and you did a fabulous job adapting the song for our OBASC purposes. The James Puresex--oops, I mean Purefoy--pics are so glorious and beautiful. And yes the new Tom is lovely!

Thanks, I had a hoot of a time doing it... Saw the new Tom (Sturridge) for about one minute five seconds at the end of the Reese Witherspoon Vanity Fair and um. He's the kind of thing that makes you look for more. :D

(and also, talking about Oscar Wilde... I mean, we could be, right? ;) There's a clip with Mr. Sewell at Wilde's tomb in Paris, je t'aime that you might like, here.)

Thank you so much for that link! Oscar helping true love to run smoothly, how very bittersweet and ironic. And the lovely Emily Mortimer as well. I need to see that movie.

I love being able to hear Tom singing those lyrics in that gloriously scratchy voice of his. ;) Marvelous!

Yes, for being a former choirboy, he certainly isn't very smooth sounding! Unless it's all part of the Mack the Knife disguise...

I'm glad there is no one around to hear me sing along! I think I got a bit carried away... Especially after reading the text on the James Purefoy picture. :-D

I think that's generally the idea. :D I was mostly laughing too hard to pull it off in proper time...

It's that lazy eye belligerence, kinda makes me feel faint!

(definitely my pleasure... ;))
