Cake's testosterone did him little good against the two harpies of East End soap opera household. Pam Ferris delivered her lines like a Valkyrie, and Susannah York, cast hilariously against type as a Dot Cotton-style friend, asked "Shall I put the kettle on?" after each gory act of family violence

I'd still be drooling over him. It all sounds fun, but I can never afford a ticket! Thanks for this though, makes me kind of live through it.

Umm ... forgive the question, but - which Tom Hollander Yahoo group? I've never been able to find one.

This one. They've got a lot of good interviews with him way back in the 2002 or so achives, as well as lots of pictures.

(and curious me: what brings you here? You're the second person within the last few days who's replied to an older Tom post of mine, an unheard of phenomenon! ;))

Mmm... I've admired his acting for ages, but I'm ashamed to say that the total hotness didn't hit me until I saw him as Cutler Beckett (it's the wig - it does amazing things to his face and really draws attention to that sensuous mouth).

I only found obasc and tomhollander in the last couple of weeks after an "interests" search), and of course I had to go through every post. There are some gorgeous pictures of him here. I was curious about the Yahoo group, since I had already searched there in vain, but then not every group is indexed. Thank you for the link - I have now joined.

I can heartily endorse his status as St Tom the Divine!

Mmmmmmmmm, his mouth. But I'm sure you've already read all about how I feel there. (let me say one more time though, the LIPS! Amazing. I've only seen Pirates once, so couldn't tell if he presses them together in that one, but it's great fun to watch how often he does it in everything else...)
