Sounds like the kind of thing a lot of govt employees get away with in a don't ask, don't tell kind of way...the main issue here is that Palin pretends to be a reformer. Of course I think it's wrong to use taxpayer money to bring your kids around with you, or do anything not in your job description, but the hypocrisy is even worse.

I would be annoyed no matter who did it. So many of us poor folk don't have that luxury. Jez. The hypocrisy it burns...

Do these kids ever go to school? Do they have a tutor maybe? Sounds like they went on a lot of trips in Palin's, what, 22/23 months as governor, plus you see them on the campaign trail all the time.

I am completely opposed to this. She's stolen from the taxpayers. She's not unique, but it doesn't excuse it, and I hope she gets dinged hard over it.
