He seems tired in that video. A little too defensive. He should defuse this with humor, like "Swift Kids For Truth" over on huffingtonpost.com and 236.com
My only (minor) criticism about that is the whole "Muslim" issue being equated to being "bad" in the way he phrased it. It's true that he's Christian, but the tone of it was if he were a Muslim, that would be a negative. (and yeah, I know in our nation at this time, that a lot of people would think that was a "negative") but if he could have just said something like "there's nothing wrong with being a Muslim, but I'm not," that puts it back on the point that the distortion was about who he was, not what his personal opinion is about other faiths.
He has to be careful about that because Muslims vote in this country as well!
