Holy hopeful batman.

So I was looking at the website for SC's state newspaper (The State), and I came across this brief pre-debate "article" from 10/07/08.

Graham attacks Obama before debate ( Read more... )

Wow, at The State?! Columbia's paper?! The Doc is really surprised, after having lived so long in one of the reddest states in the Union that people would actually praise Obama over there.

Lindsey Graham is the guy who said it'd be a pretty cool idea to put the Ten Commandments in every public orifice available, but then when asked couldn't name ONE. Not a single one! He got out "don't steal, don't kill... uh..." Hey Lindsey, how about "I am the Lord thy God and thou shalt have no other gods before Me?" Hmm? Dumbass?

Lindsey Graham is a political tool, though. He realized early on that there was no way he could get elected to high office as a Republican politician from a state that is considered in the red bag. So he started riding the coattails of other more highly electable folks so he can get the international photo-ops.

LOL, remember those ads during the campaign for the first Senate term? Bush was all in them, at the end... "I want this man for the United States Senate". Now, he's acting like he doesn't even know Bush.

I was out of SC by then, but my sisters found it hilarious! I wonder who he'll pal around with after this election?

The State?! That bastion of crap reporting? I'm kinda shocked they didn't purge out the pro-Obama comments.

But I'm glad people aren't standing for this crap.

In The State???

My friends (*snicker*)... THAT is change and hope you can believe in. I never thought I'd see the day when I'd hear *that* about The State.

Remember, the reporting in The State is still crap-a-licious. I guess the reading public just isn't as pliant as the editors like to think.

If you had told me a month ago that West Virginia would become a swing state, I'd never believe you.

As the U.S.S. McPalin struggles to stay afloat, anything is possible in this election. States he never expected to have to defend are turning white. So now instead of attacking the states he once thought he could win, McCain must turn his limited resources to states that he never thought to campaign in.

It's a good, good day.
