Rec!view: This fic is the reason why I no longer look at Rude and Reno as comic relief in AC. This is just … so … nyargh! It rather defies description, because each time I try I end up making it sound a lot more trite and uninteresting than it actually is. This fic is not a typical fill-in-the-blanks fic. It’s rich in layers, the emotion in it often palpable without being overpowering. The writing is first-rate, and both characters, plus their supporting cast, come alive in ways that I really wasn’t expecting. Exceptional stuff. Truly.
