A Buddhist story of Heaven and Hell.

Over the years, I've come across versions of this story many times.
While visiting the temple one day, a young seeker approached the master of the temple.

"What are the differences between Heaven and Hell?" the young seeker asked the learned master.

"There are no material differences," replied the old monk peacefully.

Interesting!

Of course, the assumptions about Heaven and Hell expressed by the seeker/young monk/etc. in many of the stories are usually more Christian than Buddhist.

Did the Southern Baptist version still have chopsticks or were they using forks?

I've heard a similar story in Christian circles.
I also heard about one where the wise man hits the other guy in the head and says "that is hell", and then the other guy forgives him or the wise man hands him a cake or something and says "that is heaven." Okay, so I don't have all the details down.
