I'd say you were within your rights to bite the right one and say, "what kept you so long ?"

I've just re-watched The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford, which I enjoyed immensely the first time around, but vowed never to watch again because it was so bleak! I caved and liked it even more the second time. But, omg, guys, I totally forgot that Jesse James died EXACTLY one hundred years before I was born, to the day! ( Read more... )

Ugh, GREAT POST!!! I need to buy "Jesse James" so badly--it's been nearly three months since I've seen it, and I'm still thinking about it. Also, Paul Schneider is in "Bright Star" but he's unfortunately not as hot in it! Still, it's always a pleasure to see him.

Also, "Let The Right One In" is totally gorgeous, agreed! I hope you were able to watch it with the subtitles--I rented a copy for my parents and it was dubbed :/

I need to buy it too! To be honest you were one of the main reason I ended up re-watching it, thank you :D! Yes, I noticed that Paul Schneider was in Bright Star, which I was planning on seeing anyway, it's just another reason to catch the film!

Oh, yes, luckily we watched the subtitled version - another DVD I need to buy!

Sorry for the late reply, I'm tentatively coming back online for an hour and hoping the migraines are banished!

Yes, I'm hating the idea of an English language version...they always seem to remove the charm when they re-make films :(

It's fine, darling. I hope your head's feeling better. <3333

I know, right? If the original was good, why try and stick a greedy, English language hand into the pot?

Sorry for the late reply, I've been hiding out of the way from fear of migraines D:! Sneaking back on for an hour and hoping they don't notice!

Oh, I'm so glad you love the film too! Haha, that bath scene is quite memorable! I really should buy it on DVD.

I hope that you like Let The Right One In :D
