Doctor Who Competition! Sort of!

Apr 29, 2010 00:20

OK, so I meant to post this ages ago, but I forgot D:

Basically, on my way into the supermarket last week I jokingly remarked that I was sure they'd have some kind of Jammie Dodger display, following Victory of the Daleks. And that there was a very high probability that every child in the country had taken a Jammie Dodger to school in their ( Read more... )

Well, i am commenting to say that your competition is adorable! But i needn't be in it, because i don't need any Jammie Dodgers, because you sent me Jelly Babies which are as vastly superior as Four is to Eleven! Lies, lies, i haven't even seen Eleven yet. But the Jelly Babies fascinate me! They smell so strongly, i haven't even had the nerve to open the package and try them yet! Soon, i swear. slightlytookish is right, though, we really haven't got anything you haven't got! That's the trouble with America. We force our exports on everyone. Like that Kinks song about Waikiki.

I need to watch some Jeeves & Wooster. It has been years.

No, no! Don't be silly! I love you talking over here! And it makes my journal look more popular ;o)

Don't fear the Jelly Babies! I do think Jelly Babies are superior to Jammie Dodgers...but they don't go so well with tea, so I'll call it a dead heat. I am probably the top exporter of Doctor Who foodstuffs in the country. I should open a black market company. We could be in this together, tundraeternal, 50/50. ;-D

We force our exports on everyone. Like that Kinks song about Waikiki. - Hahahaha! You are brilliant. We love your exports. Except Miley Cyrus. If Jedward ever make it over there I can only apologise.

Hahahaha, i love the huge gap! That ETA cracked me up, seriously. Which might be a sign that i had a long and tedious day. Sort of like how when you're sleep deprived you start laughing when someone says 'What's brown and sticky? A stick!' Did you guys have that one ( ... )

Haha. I laughed too. How contrived of me.

I always laugh at the stick joke, mainly because it now reminds me of this image:

I am sorry, i have majorly hijacked your entry with a thousand comments. But i will say this: the fact that you have biscuits that go well with tea is amazing. Every time i go to the supermarket, i wander the cookies/crackers aisle, looking for something that will go well with tea. And i never find anything! Chocolate chip cookies do not go well with tea. Oreos do not go well with tea. Clearly, America needs to start manufacturing some verson of Jammie Dodgers. Also, Jammie Dodgers also remind me of Eddie Izzard, doing the bit about the airline flight from Cork to Belfast or something, where the pilot has Jammie Dodgers and chocolate biscuits. Eddie Izzard is the most hilarious ever. I want him to be my next-door neighbor.

ETA: Hello, and welcome to the running commentary on What's Going On Inside My Head At All Times. I promise i'll go shut up now!

I love getting comments from you! Never be sorry! I also love your head and the things in it. ♥

I always think that chocolatey biscuits go well with coffee, but not so well with tea. Let me think of non-chocolatey biscuits. Custard Creams, Rich Tea, Digestive Biscuits, Nice Biscuits, Garibaldi Biscuits, Shortbread Biscuits, Lincoln Biscuits, HobNobs, Pink Wafers, Party Rings, Ginger Nuts, Arrowroot Biscuits...and now I am stumped.

I bet you don't have Jaffa Cakes! Although they do have chocolate on them, they do go well with tea!
