What is this I don't even

Apr 13, 2010 02:02

So, after following a link on randomneses journal, I ended up searching for my name on fanhistory.com and I found out that I'm a member of the Sean Bean fandom. Who knew?! I guess it must be all those fanvids, bad manips, original songs, poems, drawings and fanfics I posted about him. Oh...wait.

I don't even have a Sean Bean icon to use for this entry ( Read more... )

fail, sean bean wtf?, fandom, lol

I know! I was thinking that too. I actually typed a paragraph about it in my earlier comment and then deleted it. I wonder if my American friends would notice how local he is if they heard my accent?! I keep meaning to make a video post. But then my hair looks crap and I put off doing it for another day. XD

Stefano if a fantastic name! I throw my weight behind the vote.

I've got a page on that site too... not sure how I feel about that. Apparently they've just got a bot that hoovers up the names of fandom people and creates pages for them. (It hasn't managed to spot that my main fandom was HP for a million years, so I'm not too worried about it revealing anything personal about me, but still.)

On an unrelated note I have been known to insist on calling him either Seen Been or Shorn Born. I am a tragic individual.

Ahh! A bot would definitely explain it! No, it didn't spot my HP leanings either, despite the fact that it's the main fandom I've been active in (this must be rectified).

I think we should edit our pages so we look like BNFs.

Haha, we call him Seen Been too. I wonder if my American friends would spot that my regional accent is a mere matter of miles away from him.

I hope you are having fantastic fun on your trip! x

Oh my god. Yes. This is a brilliant idea. We could start off with feasible things and then gradually work up to more and more surreal claims. It's not like they could complain given that they made pages about us without our permission anyway. XD XD XD

Haha, I love the subtlety of your icon.

I think this is the beginning of a dastardly plan.

It's true! Haha! I think I may have been (Bean?) in a bean_daily comm for a few weeks, how odd that it should pick up on that and not HP!

Yes, I actually searched for your name after my own and was very jealous to see your out of date fic list!

Wow! That site is interesting and . . . a little scary, if I'm honest. XD I had to look myself up and it's got a list of several of my fandoms. It's like HOW DO THEY KNOW?! >.> <.<

But if there's ever a fandom to be in, Sean Bean's a good one. ;)

Haha! Good old Sean Bean. I know! I was just so puzzled that Sean Bean was listed but not Harry Potter! I've only ever been in one Sean Bean comm and definitely never contributed to it! XD

Yeah, it is strange! They left out a few fandoms for me, too. I'd be curious to know how they figure it all out. Probably page-visits or something. Internet is sneaky like that!

Dude, you should totally have a page. Maybe the bot hasn't got to your name yet! But yeah, if it's as frighteningly accurate as mine...
