I am having a torrid affair with a dog named Richard
No, really.
For my birthday, my friend marcusjjordan bought me a NDS game called Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry. You get to go to magic school to learn spells, spend your money in the local village and interact with the other students. There are 150 characters in the game, although you only have a random selection at school with you. You can be rivals, or best friends or even start a relationship. As soon as I entered the school I fell madly in love with this little blue dog (I know! But nearly all the characters are animals...or even vegetables. Or mobile phones! DON'T JUDGE ME!) called Richard. One of the main aspects of the game is the gossip that circulates around the school, none of which is random, it's all based on what a particular character has actually seen, or what that character has been told by someone else. So on that very first day I heard a rumour that Lydia (a green zombie) had a crush on Richard and that they'd been seen acting suspiciously together. Crestfallen, I vowed that Richard would be mine.
So, we've been hanging out a lot over the past few days, going out for noodles and drinking raspberry juice in the bar. Yesterday he told me that we were best friends, "like Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn or Batman and Robin"! I was making headway. Imagine my joy when he started looking at me with a little heart in his thought bubble. Rumours were RIFE! "Rebecca has a crush on Richard" "Rebecca and Richard have been seen acting suspiciously together." After one magic class one of the other students asked if we were going to elope and Richard BLUSHED! So earlier on today he told me that he had a secret he wanted to share with me, but he wanted to tell me somewhere more private than the school grounds. He asked me to meet him at Lover's Point at 6pm. Oh man, I was so excited, honestly! How sad is that? So I've been clock watching all day.
Here I am, anxiously awaiting Richard's arrival. I say anxiously because the last time an NPC arranged to meet me in Animal Crossing I messed it up. Not this time, I vowed. I present to you, the beautiful story of Richard and I, told in blurry pictures of my NDS.

I know I have a few NDS owners on my flist, seriously, this game is too cute. It's like going to a bizarre Japanese Hogwarts. It came out in March throughout Europe and I think it's out next month in the US. I need other people to start getting it on with cute little animals, I feel so ashamed alone!
