I can't comment much on any of this, as I haven't seen a c-section but why do you have the hysterectomy part there? Can they do that?

Good luck with everything, I've never managed to make a birth plan and I've always regretted it but yours seem well thought out and structured, I really do hope it goes well for you and bubby.

There have been known cases where they have done a hysterectomy over other things when there has been excessive bleeding... Im only 23, I am not 100% done with having children yet, even if this one is another c-section baby, and although worst worst case scenario they may need to do a hysterectomy, it has to be the last resort (ie im going to definitely die if they dont remove it, not if in doubt take it out kind of thing ( ... )

Wow! I wish I had thought of having a birth plan for my scheduled c-section with Misty. I especially like the part about the first voice the baby hearing being yours. That is so sweet.

I hope it all goes well for you. I was not so happy to be having a c-section either but no doctors will do VBACs at my hospital anymore. :(

are you planning on another homebirth?
you know abot the hysterectomy, they asked me right after Indi was born, I was totally not thinking straight! I was SO MAD that they would ask a woman that when she was so vonerable...
