Excellent. I like you lived through Thatcher's Britain so i'm interested in seeing this. We'll hopefully see it sometime this week, but I've heard wonderful things about Streep's performance :-)

Hope you get to see it...it's possibly not what you might expect, but well worth seeing.

I am continually amazed at how Meryl transforms herself. Julie/Julia, The Devil Wears Prada, Sophie's Choice, Mama Mia ... such range! I will have to see this movie!

HUGS!

Possibly some of the historical/political aspects might be hard to follow, but such a fabulous performance. Enjoy.

Meryl Streep excels at every part she plays. I am not much of a cinema person, but I will jump at the chance to see her act. I would suspect that as a character actor, this roll would have the potential of being a high point.

I too enjoyed the movie very much. Meryl was amazing in her portrayl of Maggie Thatcher. Nice? to be reminded of the scary Thatcher years. She was in the news her very frequently, especially with some of her major stuff ups such as the Poll Tax!

Great to 'hear' from you Neville. Yes, there are some legacies from the Thatcher years that we don't need to be reminded about.
