OH DEAR. That one was a low blow... unsurprisingly since it was not less in the original way, but ... yeah, Arthur's fears are so very real and justified, but yet so very fragile... he just needs enough of a nudge.

I loved Freya, too. I was so sad when she ended up dying. :( But, I like to give her a strong legacy in fic, and so here she is! :)

Wow, this was such a heartbreaking chapter! I love how you wrote Arthur's insecurities, and Merlin's actions/concerns were wonderfully written too! The insight into Arthur's emotions was well written (and horribly sad) but I love that Merlin came back in the end. I look forward to reading more!
