*happy sigh* This is beautiful. I like how Merlin gets a memory of Camelot everytime he lights a match. For a moment there, I thought he will be dead dead and I was getting ready to sniffle. But then you made it all better.

I thought the memories would be a good substitute for all the happy thoughts the girl gets in the original tale. I'm glad you liked the happy ending despite the sad tones. Thank you for commenting!

I'd say I'm sorry for making you cry, but, well, it means I've done my job right. :) I couldn't bear to leave it sad. (And I know I've never commented, but I absolutely adore your artwork, especially as a manga and yaoi fan myself). Thanks for commenting!

I'm glad you liked the angst, and I really adore your art. You're one of my favorite artists in the Merlin fandom!

But while I'm here - I tend to go to your LJ to just look at your art a lot, and something's been bugging me..."When does a Dream stops been a Dream?" - is that an intentional error?

This was so very heartbreaking in a way, though the literal flickers of hope made it all worth it in the end. I loved the slow reclamation of Merlin's memories, the manner in which he didn't understand yet felt them was beautiful.

Great job!

Well, heartbreaking was the goal, but so was heartwarmig. And feelings were the main point. Glad you like it, darlin'!

Erm, yeah, I don't think laptops and saltwater mix. But I'm glad you like it!
