"I don't think he even tries." Yesung said worriedly. He sat across from Hankyung in their booth at a cafe.

Hankyung drank from his coffee. "What did he do this time?"

Yesung huffed as he crossed his arms on the table. "Nothing, that's the problem. I feel like I'm a burden when I'm with him, I sort of force myself to go with him wherever he goes. To get to know him better, understand his interests and all that... but its just very one-sided."

Hankyung nodded in agreement, Yesung continued. "When he takes me out on dates, its mostly him going to places I'm not exactly comfortable with. Can't he pick places that I would enjoy to? I put in this much effort, why can't he?"

Hankyung nodded again. Yesung sighed as he glanced at his watch. "I need to go, but thanks for letting me rant." Hankyung smiled in return as Yesung said his goodbyes and left the cafe, Hankyung waited a few minutes before asking out loud.

"Did you hear that?" He looked up to see Kyuhyun look over from the booth behind them, he wore sunglasses and a hat as a disguise.

"Yes, unfortunately." Kyuhyun got up from his seat and settled across the seat from Hankyung. "Now I actually feel bad."

"Then do something to fix it." Hankyung suggested lightly.

Kyuhyun dropped his head into his hands. "I didn't think he felt that way... I guess I could do better with how we go about planning our dates..." He closed his eyes in thought. Hankyung counted down the minutes when he knew Kyuhyun would sigh dramatically and give up.

Took five minutes before Kyuhyun did exactly that. "That was quick." Hankyung commented.

"I'm already putting in the extra mile by just thinking of what to do, that should stand for something." He reasoned.

"I'm sure he feels appreciated." Hankyung murmured, Kyuhyun narrowed his eyes.

"Don't need the sarcasm." He replied sternly, he crossed his arms as he continued to think of possibilities.

They had left it at that when later that night he decided to walked through the sidewalks. His phone rang and he noted the caller ID, he answered the call from Yesung. He instantly felt guilt when Yesung had turned down a date with him for the next day, it was mainly to go electronics shopping but he knew it wasn't what Yesung had found interesting. He sulked on the bench and tried his best to think of a solution when a piece of paper smacked him on the face.

He cursed under his breath when he took a good look at the attacking paper. The corners of his lips twitched upwards, he knew exactly what to do now.

Yesung sighed as he glanced at his watch again, it was already thirty minutes past when they were supposed to meet up but Kyuhyun was still late nevertheless.

"Why bother?" He asked himself when he felt a pair of hands cover his eyes. "I'm still mad." He said out loud.

"Sorry, was getting something." Kyuhyun quickly dropped his hands. "You're ready?"

"I was ready for the past half hour." Yesung reminded with a slight bitter tone, it didn't faze Kyuhyun at all and in return gave a reassuring smile. Yesung reluctantly followed Kyuhyun through the streets when he heard loud bangs and music being played. He looked up from the ground and widened his eyes in realization, it was a cultural festival. Kyuhyun grabbed his hands and led him towards it.

Yesung was like a child as he dragged Kyuhyun from place to place among the festival, ranging from food to art-crafts to having bushes wacked at him to ward off evil spirits. Soon the main dance was going to start but Kyuhyun realized that Yesung was having trouble looking over the crowd due to his height. Kyuhyun looked around for a solution when he looked up. He reached for Yesung's hand and pulled him through the crowd.

"We're going to miss-"

"It's fine, follow me." Yesung did as he was told and allowed himself to be pulled until they reached the top of a shop nearby. Yesung grinned when he realized he was able to get a birds eye view of the on-going performance. He looked on excitedly as he watched the street performers dance and do tricks. He cheered them on and looked on at their impressive stunts.

Kyuhyun didn't focus at the performances however, he instead watched Yesung's many expressions. He smiled triumphantly knowing for once he had actually done something to make him honestly happy. And though it wasn't something he'd typical do for himself, he found himself enjoying it nonetheless.

"Ahhh, so tired." Yesung called out as he flailed his arms. The cultural was now over, they took their time though walking back home. He kept his smile on his face as he looked back at Kyuhyun. "I had a good time today."

"Are you saying you haven't had good times on our other dates?" Kyuhyun asked knowingly. Yesung shifted his eyes. Kyuhyun shook his head as he felt a bit of guilt return. "Don't answer that."

Yesung was a few steps away from him when he turned around and locked eyes with him. "Thank you." He said earnestly, Kyuhyun tilted his head. "Thank you for doing what you did today."

Kyuhyun scoffed. "I do try sometimes, I'm not a completely heartless boyfriend." Yesung remained silent. "You're supposed to correct that."

"But you weren't wrong." Yesung said seriously, Kyuhyun lowered his eyes and walked off angrily. Yesung laughed as he followed behind him, this time reaching to lock arms with him. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you're right. You're not a completely heartless boyfriend." Kyuhyun leered at him, Yesung stopped him and pulled him downwards and pecked him on the cheek. "Yet somehow I still love you."

Kyuhyun's smile returned as he replied with ease. "Good, because you have no other choice."
