Sungmin sighed as he stared at the mass of books laid out before him. His friend had just left and he was left alone in the library that was oddly isolated. He felt uncomfortable and tried his best to focus on his reading to distract himself.
Only, homework was incredibly boring and the need to procrastinate had motivated him to give up his endeavor rather quickly. He reached for his backpack and hurried out of the library, back onto the campus grounds. He kept his head low as he continued to walk when he felt a movement beside him.
He turned around and was met with a contagious grin.
He recognized the person immediately as a student named Donghae; someone he barely noticed and knew from word of mouth.
His eyes then trailed to the sign that was held between his hands that said 'Free Hugs.'
Sungmin inched back slightly. "Um..." He said, taken aback by the message.
"They're free." Donghae gestured to the sign once more and kept his brilliant smile.
Sungmin remained flustered as he continued to stare at it, thinking that it was for some sort of cause that he was unaware about. Sungmin stared warily at the sign but decided it would do no harm if he went along with it.
He wasn't sure how to go about it and simply gestured he was fine with it. Seeing his gesture, Donghae closed the gap between them.
He felt slightly odd allowing this near stranger to hug him, a very gripping and enveloped hug at that, but he didn't mind it at all. He felt relaxed and noticed inwardly that he didn't mind the giver of the hug either.
Unfortunately, it ended much too soon for his liking.
Donghae pulled back and chuckled. "See? That wasn't so bad." Donghae asserted lightly.
He walked away before Sungmin could reply. Sungmin's eyes followed him and he lightly touched his cheeks that felt oddly warm. He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts of the brief encounter and scurried away in mild panic.

Hankyung waited around the corner when Donghae steadily walked towards him with the sign held loosely in his hand.
"Finally," Hankyung murmured. "Are you done borrowing it?"
"For the time being." Donghae smirked. "Do you have a marker?"
Hankyung arched an eyebrow but gave it to him nonetheless. Donghae turned the sign over and wrote on it. Hankyung peered over his shoulder and scoffed at the newly written message.
"You really have your eyes set on him."
"But it had always been one-sided," Donghae said as he finished writing.
"I doubt making him notice you was your only motive." Hankyung reasoned.
Donghae shrugged but smiled knowingly. "I don't mind having an excuse to hold him."
"And what excuse do you have this time?"
Donghae chuckled as he closed the cap on the marker. He then handed it back as he held up the sign proudly. "I'm sure I won't have to make one up this time." He said rather confidently.
In rather large letters, it read 'Free kisses.'
