Thank you, thought about sea horses myself, because female kangaroos have a pouch, but male sea horses have pouches for the babies...

The seahorse. Years ago, in Blake's Seven, there was a fanfic titled "Pity the Poor Seahorse". A friend did a dramatic reading and we were all in stitches laughing.
