That does not matter for me, I'm prepared for the worst, and it's not like I'm shedding out my own money for the game or have to play it anyway. Besides, I am often a "fan of the underdog", too. Heh

Not to mention how pathetically short it was, and only served to tie up loose ends from the first episode.

As for shortness, well, they do say that II was supposed to be part of I actually. Hm, oh well.
All this nostalgia does make me wish that someone (hello Takahashi!) would pick up the series again... I still want to see Episode VI ... or the "Buddhist solution" as A.C. calls it. *lol*

I dunno, I think the series is better off dead, unless they actually go back to the ORIGINAL ideas, with which Xenosaga barely did ANYTHING - But just like a new Chrono game, chances of that are very very slim.
