Let me preface the following rant by saying that I am not a sports fan, and no one could ever possibly mistake me for one.  Long ago, back when the Cincinnati Reds were The Big Red Machine with Pete Rose and Johnny Bench, I enjoyed watching the games on TV with my dad.  But that was decades ago, and these days, I find that I am truly the antithesis

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I couldn't have said it better myself. People just need to get-the-fuck-over-it, if you ask me. Having been raised in the presence of the insane Cats fan (my grandfather) and having once attended UofL for 4 years, I will say, I have seen BOTH sides of Kentucky's affliction. It seems to me that there are a lot of people in this state that need a 12-step program, stat! And it's not just adults... we are raising children to be this way. It the midst of my life as a basketball mania bystander, I was once asked (more than once actually) if my blood ran blue or red (blue for Cats, red for Cards). After my response (which was deliciously smart-assed for a 9year-old, and explained that ALL blood was blue before Oxygenation, and ALL red after) I was asked if I was sure that I was "from 'round here
