Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm Texan born and raised, and there is a lot I miss about Texas. (Like fresh air, and actual open space with grass and trees and without 15 thousand condos on it!)

And I admit that my travels through America have been quite limited. But I haven't encountered the blatant racism here in California that I had to put up with as a kid back home. Of course, the recent flare-ups about immigration have showed me that maybe they just hide their racism a little better out here. :/

P.S. Also, I'm afraid this particular incident says a lot more about my fellow Mexicans than anything else. Sometimes minorities can be the most racist people around.
