Cried myself to sleep last night thinking about the babies dying of hunger and thirst in New Orleans. Eric says I shouldn't read any more of those news stories for a while, which is probably a good idea

Donating blood is such a great idea. I'll be marching myself down to the Blood Center across the street and I'll be dragging the husband with me. Thanks for the inspiration.

my husband made me turn CNN off last night. He wont let me watch anymore. I gave almost all our canned food yesterday and my husband just shook his head and smiled. We have nothing to eat but the children will be able to eat my peas lol
