I finally handed in my notice at my shitty old job today, and told them all how thoroughly I'm enjoying my new one. Ha!

We're going to Maelstrom on Thursday (help!) and I reeeeeeeally need to get a move on with making things. SO far I have a pair of shoes and thats it. Yey, great costume Rebecka, go and get yourself arrested for indecent exposure

Yeaaah. I'm two pattern repeats away from finishing the second of two panels for the Print O' the Wave stole I'm making. Then I get to graft them together and then add the trim :|

As I was working on it this morning and celebrating the fact that the end is in sight, I told Matt, "if my Aunt sees this and says, 'OH! Can you make me one?!??!!!?!' I will tell her, 'sure. For $300.'"

I loooove that stole so much, I'm far too scared to actually attempt anything in lace until I finish everything else and can give it my 100% attention. So that'll be like, never.
