it was the easiest bit about it! I can imagine it'd be fiddly with embroidery thread, but I used some spare yarn I had lying around and it was really easy.
It's a lot easier than crocheting, but it's a similar process. You basically create a loop by making a stitch and not pulling it tight, leaving a bit dangling on top basically. You then do another loop the same way inside the first loop, and then another inside the second, making sure to flatten the second one down on top of the edge of the first one, then carry on like that. The next loop pins the previous one to the fabric, creating a chain. theres probably a video tutorial on youtube, that'll probably be easier to understand than my gabbing :D
