I had to shop yesterday, which I hate to waste my weekend time doing. It is a 20 mile drive to the "city", which is always busy on the weekends with Canadian tourists, college kids and everyone else who needs to be out and about. I needed dog food and cat food, both of which were on sale at the stores I buy from. It was very warm, about 80 degrees

Oh, I like posts about people's days, it's nice to imagine where everyone is! Farmer's markets and bookshops - sounds like you found something to make up for having to do the chores. And very pretty flowers!
