I've drawn a dino again: a prosauropod from the Late Triassic of South Brasil:

For a "little doodle" it's well detailed and looks like a final piece. Cool! :D

Simply gorgeous, Luc! I adore detailed B&W art which is so rare these days. I don't suppose you do commissioned work, out of idle curiousity...?

Currently not yet, but I sometimes take trades. I sometimes take requests from paleontologists for paleoart.

Nyo, you never cease to amaze me with your CRAZY detail. :)

I absolutely love the way you draw the surrounding environment; you don't skip out on the fact that plants don't all look the same. That's one thing I respect about paleo artists; they more often than not include detailed attempts at the surrounding flora as well as the depicted creature.

No matter what any other antagonistic person says about your art, I will still believe you have skill and talent.

Thanks, but in paleoart there's also accuracy: basing drawings on the material available and respecting the scientific data's: that's not always easy, there are strange critters.

True, professional paleontologists often include vegetation - but also they have a scientific team to guide them.

Amateurs don't always do the same, far from them: as in fantasy artists, you'll find doodles, decent artists and really good ones.
For (mostly) amateur paleoart: http://dino.lm.com/artists/

Cheers - Nyo.
