Is it really that hard to say thank you?

In general, is it really so hard to say thank you? To be appriecitive of all the things someone does for them? To thank the one who has defended them, taken them from unhealthy situations and give them the chance to get on their feet, stuck up for them, stuck by them, done things for them......little things to show i cared. no.... never a thank you
