I remember the first time I saw Entity, watching Jack shoot her, and then sit by her bed, unable to let her empty shell go, and then after she is returned to her body, he stands there, and just taps the bed by her hand and doesn't touch her! I thought that the self-control that this represents was truly frightening. It has to leak out somewhere, or Jack has somehow managed to make himself less than human.

Clearly it leaks out here. I can see this, the crack in the dam, followed by a quick rebuilding of the walls, and back to business as usual. Until the next time.

I know, right? I was waiting for him to touch her too - even if it was just her arm or something small. I mean for goodness sake, she just came back from the dead! It always bothered me how he reacted at the end of that episode. I like to think he was just bottling it up and, as you say, it leaks out later.

Also, in my head, there is (of course) a part two that brings them to an even happier resolution. And there's a chance that one would require a higher rating *G*

ps. I love your icon! isn't that look on Amanda Tapping's face just so creepy?! *shudder* It really feels (to me at least) that in that episode, Sam really is replaced by this mysterious and rather hostile being.

Wow. I know this is UST but it's satisfying UST. And it feels like pre-RST so I'm a happy camper. :D

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it :) In my head (and in the back of my mind as I write), all UST is pre-RST *G*

Who knows, maybe there will be a sequel... :)
