seriously tempted to put money aside for you to come up to Preston. i keep trying but *cannot* get on top of the decluttering/cleaning of this house. once it's properly clean we can think about redecorating but not before

I'd be happy to come up to Preston - could combine it with a visit to the lakes or Wigan and Manchester perhaps. My main skills are around dealing with the emotions of the client and getting stuff DONE/taking breaks/stopping when necessary. We'd get rid of stuff via a local houseclearing service (for extra cost) or through other means like having friends help out with taking stuff to charity shops/rubbish dump/cash converters or similar.

This sounds like an excellent plan. I could definitely do with some decluttering help, though not sure I'm in a position to pay for it at the moment, but will think on't.
