Mobile phone (software)

Anyone got any recommendations for mobile camera phones with software that *actually works*? I'd prefer to keep my number/Orange. Motorolla is complete trash and doesn't talk to my computer at all.

I've heard good things about Android but I don't use it myself as yet. Now that Apple aren't supporting 1st generation iphones anymore, I might just hack my iphone and put Android on it.

I upgraded my software to os4 works ok though you don't get all the features.

Why? Are there any camera phones that produce results even close to a camera costing a fraction of the price?

I don't want a particularly decent camera or camera phone... just a half-assed camera phone with software that works. I like the instant picture-grabbing thoughtlessness that comes with having a camera on your person all the time that isn't a thing you have to think about when you put stuff in your pockets.

The really cheap (£15 from memory) VM 621i's I got as backups act as a mass storage device when you plug them into a USB port and grabbing the (not great) photos that way is easy. It's also easy to take a photo, look at them and delete them on the phone.
