Favourite sounds

What are your favourite sounds that aren't human-created music? Mine are:

Laughter of friends.
The sound of heavy rain against a window when I'm snug and warm indoors.
Rustle of dry leaves in a wood.
The sound of the sea.
Steam railway engine noise.
Cats purring.

Aside from music/tv/radio, what can you hear right now? See music for mine :-)

I like the sound of the sea dragging over the pebbles on the beach. Thunder and the heartbeat of someone you love when you have your head laid on their chest.

Right now I can hear Chris in the shower.. the boys chattering to one another in their bedroom and the washing machine whirring..

birds singing
rain ohh how i like sound of rain :) rain while in a tent is great
better still hail
a flag wiping sounds in the wind
the fizz sound when opening a new fizzy drink

i can hear right now birds outside my window the hum of my laptop and the house creaking in the wind.

Why are they 'lame'?

Fizzy drink sound is a good sound, I like that too.

i don't no i just think things i like hearing are odd or lame but i guess not as we all like different hings

Oh, such beautiful sounds!

I like all the sounds people have said they like here.

I think my favourites are laughter of people I love, heartbeats of people I love, rain (especially when it's really heavy), nature-y sounds like birds mixed with rustling leaves etc, stillness & noises when I'm meditating, people I love whispering nice stuff in my ear, the sea.

I can hear ars going by; birds singing.

I love the sound of church bells, but in this neighbourhood, I can only hear them on a Sunday.
