Argh.

When ours were delivered around then, the delivery person had to note down various details about the door to 'prove' he'd given them to the right address. That doesn't help when all the local doors are identical though!

Did you mention this 'geographical feature' in the notes for the application?

I didn't think there'd be a problem with my address so I didn't include any extra information about it :/

They sent it via courier who just posted it. They are going to investigate though, and hopefully I will get my passport. I just really don't need this delay.

Argh! I bloody well hope the Passport Agency refund your fee for the trouble and loss of earnings that they've caused you. Useless evil idiots! Especially as your "fast track" passport is being delayed by their 5 day investigation and courier's incompetence

grrr.

"Some f*cker has probably sold my passport by now!" When my passport (together with my lovely old style paper driving licence) was stolen the police said that actually they're pretty useless (the passports not the police ... ) and usually just end up in a bin.

bloody annoying for you though. hope it gets resolved sharpish and you get compensated without having to chase up more crap.

~hug~

Geezus. They could have just checked the photo! - though I suppose the passport would have been in an envelope of some kind so maybe not. In any event, how totally incompetent that is for such an important document. Shits!
