I query why they have to check with legal re your gender. I hope someone throws the DPA at them - HARD. There's no good reason for them to hold your gender on file anyway so you could argue that under the DPA you don't agree for them to hold that info. If their computers can't handle it - that is their problem and not yours. Stupid idiots. If you don't get anywhere I know some gender researchy types who work for the OU who might know who to prod...

Go you on all your achievements. I don't have time for a well done list and am ignoring my failed-to-do-list for the weekend :)

Many, many organisations have records of people's gender, and make people declare one way or the other. (I'm not just talking about titles here.) Banks are particularly arsey about it.

Well done!

I've recently started to enjoy using Google Calendar too! :)

My well-done list is not nearly as exciting as yours, but considering i've been ill since Wednesday, i think i'm doing well to have got out of bed and eaten some breakfast without shivering or needing paracetamol!
