Seems fine. If you could point them towards any relevant page or section of the leaflet you're enclosing then so much the betterer.

There wasn't really a section on 'don't discriminate against trannies who have changed their names, it's illegal!' There was an expectation in the document that organisations would respect legal name changes. Camden PCT fail.

You don't need to do a) and b) as a list, as a) is the only thing that would require action. So, you should build it into your sentence.

Is there some Act or organisation that you can put down as a reference if they require further information.

Also, when I write a letter, I always ask them to contact me in writing to confirm they've done whatever it is I want them to do.

I don't really know what I want them to do, just stop being arses! I don't want to be looking around the Internet for laws about legal changes of names. It's nothing to do with the Gender Recognition Act. I'm sending them a guide to dealing with trans people where admin is concerned.

It's good you've kept the letter short and simple, they would just disregard a rant.
