now i know why this has been affecting you in the way it has. before i was just listening and accepting that it was, now i feel i understand a lot more of how and why. not that this makes any difference ot my response/thoughts to you. just makes a difference to me. thanks for the difficult story.
and definitely what nitoda says about reminding yourself that now is different to then. it's really hard work though, so trying to get enough/the right balance of sleep, food, water, rest, exercise, whatever care of yourself works best is really important too. be easy on yourself. i don't know if you're prone to giving yourself a hard time when things are difficult - i know i can be, like giving myself a hard time for finding things difficult... which is why i mention it. it might not apply to you at all - but from experience i think it's important to try and be easy on yourself.
