I'm *not* going to kill myself jogging, that would be pointless.

And you would't finish the marathon either!! lol ;-)

Good for you Nye!! You are doing really wonderfully!!

Being laughed at by anyone, and still carrying on is, in my opinion, one of those moments in which you just know you are made of very strong stuff. Well done with the running progress!

Oh well done Nye!! Really really, great progress!

You know this sport relief thing? I can't be bothered to get any sponsors. I know that half-defeats the purpose of doing it, but i *really* dislike sponsored things. Do you think i should still run it anyway?

Well you've paid your admin fee, you're entitled to run. I dislike sponsored things too, but I used people's sponsorship to make me feel like I have to do the run (I tend to give up on thing). It's been a great motivator for me.

What makes you not keen on getting sponsorship? I'm sure some of your colleagues and some of the people who read your journal would be keen on supporting you. I don't like charity myself, I'm suspicious of whether or not it is effective.

We'll have to talk a bit about pace; I'm jogging at a very slow pace.

Give me a link to your sponsorship site; I can sponsor you.
