I played 'Star Wars' with kids at my church. Being the only girl, I was always Princess Leia. Which was fine with me, because I did indeed have a huge crush on Carrie Fisher. I wrote her a 4-page letter and included a portrait I drew of her, and was very sad to never receive a response.

I'm pretty sure that she's the reason I am able to self-identify as bisexual.

I did not get to see any Star Wars films as a kid, nor was I aware of any of the characters except possibly Vader or any of the plotlines.
