Warning: seeing as I'm really down I'm going to utilise the healing powers of LJ (well, it seems to cheer me up anyway) and probably post more frequently. Sorry to hear about all the crappiness :(

But regarding Aldwych, what the wiki article misses out is that Aldwych may well reopen! Unfortunately it's not expected until 2026 :( As detailed at [1] and [2] the DLR is developing plans for an extension from Bank towards the west end. Although not confirmed the consensus is that it'll use the never-used tunnels between Aldwych and the Charing X Jubilee platforms, making a stop at Aldwych a sure bet. Although I've no idea as to whether they would they would try to use the existing station entrances.

If they ever restart the occasional public tours (AFAIK they stopped them a few years ago) it might be prudent to go on one incase parts of it get rebuilt.

I'm a sucker for underground tunnels (and caves and what else there can be underground), so I'm quite interested in the obscure bits of the London Underground!
