So for a while now I've had 1mb ADSL. The speed wasn't too bad, but I didn't like it much - mainly because I had to keep resetting the router and it also had high latency. Yesterday I got a 24mb ADSL2 connection. OH MAN IT IS SO FAST I WANT TO WET MY PANTS. I mean, geez, I could eat all the internets in a couple of seconds

Who's your provider, man? I had DSL with Verizon, and when I was playing online games, ping was a definite problem, especially pretty severe spiking.

BE, but since I'm in the UK I don't think that's not going to be much good to you.
