The movement from the body beside her was enough to pull her from a deep sleep. Normally, just draping his arm over her wouldn't wake her, but there was something about tonight that just felt off for her. He was plastered up against her back and even though he'd become like cling wrap to her recently, this felt different somehow. Slowly, Jen opens her eyes, but she was so sound asleep, her eyelids are heavy and she wants to go back to sleep even as she shifts to slightly look over her shoulder. "Jethro?" she ventures, even sounding like she's half asleep. But she's worried about him or about something--she's not sure what.
She's slow to answer, but as she does, she rolls onto her back so she can see him, "You okay?" She'll go back to sleep when she's satisfied everything is okay. Neither one of them are strangers to insomnia, but she honestly couldn't say how he's been sleeping lately.
