Anime Next Day Two +1. (+1 because I helped unload a vendor's truck and set up the booth on Thursday.) Like yesterday, it's controlled chaos in the dealers's room. At least the a/c is working. Lots of nice costumes this year again. Kudos, folks. Only thing else to say is 'so much swag; so little cash'. Wah!

I spoke (wrote?) too soon. Who knew flailing in insectophobic panic could re-dislocate a shoulder? All it took was a friend flinging a yellow jacket at me and *thunk* there went my shoulder. Figured I'd post on the progress of my shoulder. It actually hasn't been as bad as I'd feared. I iced it over night and dosed myself with naproxen and blithely went to work the next morning. It was uncomfortable but I worked around it. Reaching and lifting were bothersome at best. That night lack of decent sleep caught up with me and I crashed. ( Read more... )

I've been working since early January as the evening bookkeeper, working until midnight every night, covering for the gentleman who's had the position for years while he was on extended medical leave.
