I loved this entire piece; it's so evocative of what I imagine Harry's and Draco's life would be like after the war is over. I liked these two lines in particular:
his eyes were turned upwards towards the nothingness that seemed to have been carved out of and yet into him.

It seemed so strange that of all the people here who have lost relatives and friends, the only person openly mourning was the one whose friends and relatives will not be mourned.

I'm looking forward to more of this.

PS: Did you have a particular piece of music in mind when you wrote this?

When I first started writing it, I was listening to Schindler's List: Theme Tune, which is what this is based around, I suppose, even though that piece of music probably isn't exactly what Draco is playing. ^____^

Oh, I LOVE the theme to Schindler's List. It's really beautiful, and it's got such emotion in it. Funnily enough, that's exactly what I was thinking of when I read the story!
