I've always wanted a black cat. A few years ago, I was driving home after visiting family in Georgia, and I stopped in Chattanooga, Tennessee at a Walmart to rest and pick up a few things. There was a man giving kittens away out of the trunk of his car. He had one black kitten and I took it with me, naming him Salem. I had Salem for three precious days, but had to give him up because my allergies were so severe. My eyes and throat were swollen terribly, and I had problems breathing. It still makes me sad to think about.
OMG! That is sooo terrible my friend! :( :( :( I cannot even imagine how sucky that would be! I actually started suffering from allergies after I lost Mina.
But you had named him Salem! That is just so adorable! But again, I am soo sorry you had to suffer through that and get rid of him! :(
And thank you so much for your sentiments regarding Mina. It means so much to me. ♥
Interview me, please! I just got back from visiting family and have not internet access for a while. Maybe a meme will get me back into the routine of posting.
And I'm sorry to read about Mina. I can understand about being hit hard the loss of a pet. I'm a cat lover, myself. My mom recently had to have one of her cats put down and it upset me greatly. I remember when he was born. His mother abandoned him and his littermates at three weeks. He had a cry that was similar to human baby when he was little. I spoiled him a bit when when he was a kitten.
It's hard because they become part of your family. I'm sure you did the right thing but I understand how something like that could tear you up, especially as you had Mina for so long.
Those questions are great but it may take me a few days to reply to them. This week has been a bit chaotic. Also, with #3 I see a great potential for me to ramble. I'll try to be succinct when I answer it!
*hugs you* Thank you for that darling. That's just... so sweet! *heart swells*
Take your time!!! And hopefully we can continue the meme. All of those I interviewed never put up their responses so I really couldn't continue this awesome meme. So yea, no obligation. I just know I cannot wait to see your thoughts. And yay for #3!!!
