Francesca Lia Block, oooh. She's my goddess. So many of her stories are so personal for me, the way she perfectly encapsulates things that were a part of my life. Plus, she writes like I dream of writing.

I am so happy to see that's the only thing on my entry that got people talking. She's just amazing and I understand the love. & it's odd... when you read her stuff, it's her love of communicating her dreams and it seems so simple yet it's her way of expressing herself and that's what makes it so beautiful! How innocent and straight-forward it is... because she's not thinking of what people would like to hear... she's relaying what people know and don't want to say. I love her for being so dreamy and so innocent and so charming in the way she sees life. No holds barred.
