LJ does do that, at the wrong time. True it will always be the wrong time for someone but now it was our time.

Local, LGB only play lip service to Bi issues and representation - looks like you are in a better position :)

BTW - would you mind if I were to copy that icon and make use of it???

somewhat, but we also have years of activism and we still must keep the pressure on

Do you really love being bisexual? I've found it pretty painful and disappointing myself.

Hi I'm Cynthia, a volunteer at nyabn, speaking for myself only the answer is "Absolutely! Yes!".

To me it is freeing. As a matter of fact I've always secretly felt sorry for people who weren't at least open to that identity. It has always seemed to me that people who don't claim being bi, (or some near equivalent like queer, etc.) must have to spend a lot of time worrying about their sexuality and if they were reacting/behaving "appropriately" to their "label".

If you are bi you can date men or you can date women, be poly, be celibate or be monogamous and you never have to "come out", or go back in or whatever. Once you've declared yourself bi, that's it, your set for life.

If it's not being too nosy, why do you say that it is "painful and disappointing"?

If you read all the way through this, you can find posts I've made about my heartbreak. I don't expect you to, but if you want to, there it is.
