So I succeeded in making the creme brulee, sort of. I made the sweet tea creme brulee out of my Creme Brulee cookbook. Halved the recipe because it was only my parents and I who'd be eating it (also, didn't have enough heavy cream for the full recipe). Hehe. Me too. :) It was pretty good, though, like I said, definitely going to put the caramel on top next time. I'm just sitting down to watch Midnight - I'll give you a call tomorrow! :D

in other news, I STILL haven't started to unpack yet...this is getting ridiculous! I am going to make a huge effort starting Monday -- I really really REALLY need to make my "list" of things to do this summer! :(
